Nyach HS: An Open And Shut Campus
3 hours 1 min agoSchool might be out for summer, but a schoolyard fight at Nyack High School is kicking up lots of dirt. A group of parents is speaking out about a pilot program passed by the Board of Education which will curtail a long-standing policy letting students leave campus for lunch. Much like a freshman English assignment, you have to read between the lines to understand the true meaning of the story.

Seven nights of great music featuring Duane Eubanks, Ralph Lalama, Erik Lawrence, Scott Reeves & the Manhattan Bones, the RCJBS Allstars, and many others, including a rare duo appearance by the great jazz bassist John Patitucci with pianist Mike Holober, and grand finale featuring Latin-jazz flute sensation Dave Valentin. Venues are indoors & outside with many free to the public.

Merchants Protest Increased Street Fair Fees
