O&R Issues Heat Advisory -- High Electric Use
PEARL RIVER, NY June 24, 2010 --- For the second day in a row and for the second time in the 2010 summer season that began Monday, O&R today issued a Summer Heat Watch advisory.

O&R ISSUES HEAT WATCH ADVISORY, PREDICTS HIGH ELECTRIC USE
PEARL RIVER, NY June 23, 2010 --- O&R issued a Summer Heat Watch advisory today, its first of the 2010 summer season.
Because of today’s steamy sizzle, O&R is predicting the load on its electric system to exceed 1300 megawatts --- today’s forecast is for 1318 megawatts --- placing O&R on Heat Watch status.

Snow Alert -- Parking
Updated: Feb 27, 2010 -- 1pm
- Alternate side parking rules are still in effect village-wide. Feed the meters everywhere except the three Riverspace lots.
- Three Riverspace lots are still free through the weekend. Meters will be back back in effect Monday morning at 11:00 A.M.
- Parking is back to normal on First Avenue (cones and signs removed), Burd St. (bags removed), and Bridge St. (bags removed).
