The Nyack Green Infrastructure presented an overview of gi planning and techniques, key stormwater challenges and parts of the codes to review. Two committees are now poised to start working to develop recommendations during the fall. Others volunteers are welcome to join.
The committees –called “Streets and Lots’ and “Natural Resources” –will start to meet in October and will develop recommendations for code changes as well as possible public outreach, pilot projects and funding options. Others volunteers are welcome to join. For more information, including the Power Point Presentations from the meeting and links to resources, visit the Green Infrastructure Committee page here.
