Nyack’s boil water alert remains in effect today for all Nyack Water customers.

REMINDER ***BOIL WATER ALERT*** UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

The Nyack Water Department has repaired a major water main break and restored water to almost all of it’s 15,000 customers.

This morning there was a water main break affecting the entire Nyack Water System. The break has been isolated and repairs are underway.

There is a system wide boil water notice in effect until further notice.

Please make every effort to conserve water use, so it is available for emergencies, if needed.

The Nyack Water Department is working on a water main break at Franklin and Liberty street. Presently no customers are without water service. Periodic road closures can be expected during the repair work.  Thank you for your patience during the repair.
