Join the nationwide celebration of Jonathan Demme on July 19, when theaters all over the country are showing Stop Making Sense. In honor of our home town filmmaker, Nyack will show this film for free in the Artopee Way Drive-In (normally known as the Artopee Way Municipal Parking Lot).
Stop Making Sense showcases the Talking Heads just after they achieved mainstream success with the album Speaking in Tonguesand the single “Burning Down the House.” USA, 1984, 100 minutes, unrated

The Recreation Department is excited to offer a FREE and open to the public Pine Car Derby Race day on Saturday, May 13 at the Nyack Center. There will be a Workshop, Registration and All day Weigh-in on Saturday, April 29 from 9:00-3:00 also at the Nyack Center.
