DPW has made good progress, but the snow removal continues. Please check the snow emergency zone – if you are in the emergency zone, please keep cars off the road until the snow has been removed. Parking is now open for Main Street and Broadway from Depew to Third Ave. DPW crews will continue to work until the entire village has been cleared of snow on all village roads.
Please do not park in those areas still signed. We will continue to post parking restrictions as we move through the village.
Free parking is still available in the designated lots until Friday morning at 7am, after which people need to have moved their car because the village will plow the lot.
We thank everybody for their patience. There may be ice on the roads so please be careful this evening and tomorrow morning.

The snow crews are finishing up snow plowing this morning, and will transition into snow clearing (moving it in trucks down to the Marina parking lot) around 8:30am. DPW will try to clear the downtown area by the end of today if possible.
We appreciate the efforts of those who have kept their cars off the street. We will open up parking as soon as possible. Trash collection has been suspended for Thursday, March 16 and will resume on Monday, March 20, 2017. Thank you for your cooperation as we work to clean up from the snow storm.

Here is an update for the snow emergency and parking situation.
The snow emergency is still in effect for this evening, with no parking permitted in the Snow Emergency Zone. DPW crews will be clearing the snow early in the morning from the downtown streets.
Alternate side parking will still be in effect outside the Snow Emergency Zone. If you are parked on the street, please move your car to the correct side.
As the streets are cleared tomorrow, the no parking signs will be removed and normal parking will resume.
Thanks for everybody’s cooperation and stay safe!
