As many of you know, the Village of Nyack has received a grant under the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) to evaluate and implement improvements along Broadway and the existing bike route in order to implement these improvements and alternatives to single vehicle occupancy transportation. The grant is specific to these locations and is for design and construction of these improvements.
As part of the program alternatives and schematic design, your input is desired and needed by the TAP Steering Committee and the Project Design Team. To that end, there will be a series of public meetings, the first being a public workshop for input on your thoughts, issues, and ideas.
Public input is critical to developing the Transportation Alternative Plan update that is reflective of the vision of the local community. To kick off this public process, the committee is holding the first public workshop this Tuesday, November 10th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Nyack Center. This is a great opportunity to have your voice heard, learn about the process, and help the steering committee come up with exciting ideas for Nyack.
Please forward this notification to your friends, neighbors, colleagues and fellow members of the community. You can also download a flyer with information about this from the TAP Project website.
